Lopsided, Meandering Doodle
For some serious doodles, check out Daisy Yellow or Artsyville

Thanks to Lareina for introducing me to the book, "An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination" by Elizabeth McCracken. I'm sure many other mama's have posted about it, but hers is the first one I've come across. I read it on my trip to Chicago. And it was completely pertinent to everything we are experiencing...even when we don't have a rainbow child. So many good quotes I could post. I wish I could give this book to everyone close to us, so they could read and understand what it's like...what it will continue to be like. Read it. Please?

  1. I said the same about that book, some months ago. That I wished I could have bought a copy for everyone I knew. That book was very important to me through my healing and still is. It sits on my bedside table to this day.
I hope you get a "happy ending" as Elizabeth and I did.

  2. Oh yes! That book is amazing,I wanted to go through it with a highlighter pen and hand out copies to everyone I knew. Elizabeth captures all those emotions so perfectly.

  4. yes, I really loved this book! My favorite parts are that you cannot out-travel grief, and that life goes on and so does death...
