Day 10 - a photo taken over 10 years ago of you and how it makes you feel seeing it now
Oof, over 10 years ago I would have been halfway through high school or younger, which means pretty awkward pictures. I tried to pick the least lanky one of myself:
This is right before I moved to Kansas and started high school. I had the opportunity to play hockey for the summer, and it was a blast. I was pretty lucky to be able to do that. I scored several goals, and I was pleased with myself for trying something new. Looking back at this picture, I think it exudes a pride and confidence in myself that I didn't (still don't?) always have.
Fun! Hockey season is underway --my favorite time of year. Love the long hair :)
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteWow! You had really long hair. And to play hockey, wow, what a great opportunity. I love seeing pictures of people from way back when
ReplyDeleteYou look about 7 feet tall!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to look at a picture and see confidence even though you may not feel it every day? It must be in there somewhere or it probably wouldn't shine through!
xo
It's funny because I look at pictures of myself before and I see so much light and happiness in my eyes. And I can't imagine seeing it in a picture again.
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful. Man, lanky is awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous hair! I was blissfully in 8th grade 10 years ago (favorite year of school, ever, actually!), without a hint of what was to come.
ReplyDeleteNever saw this before! Love it.
