Random

Good things today:
- Only had to wait 10 minutes in the waiting room
- Didn't cry as I sat in the room where I was told they couldn't find Lyra's heartbeat
- Smiled as I heard little S.uh's heartbeat

I guess making it to 12 weeks so far without going crazy is a feat in itself. I'll just try to keep the fear at bay and be hopeful, even if it's the stupid thing to do. I know what's possible- I'm not naive like before. I still feel like we'll be holding our breath. But I want this little one to be prepared for, like Lyra was. If this is the only time I get to be his/her mom, then I want to do all I can. Even if it means it's more painful if something goes badly.

But, to end this on a happy note, I promptly went and bought these after my appointment. I do crochet, but I can't make two things the same. I make one baby booty very well. But the matching one is usually two sizes bigger, even with my using the same pattern. So these are from a local, handmade store here in town.

  2. Good for you! I love how you said that getting to 12 weeks without going crazy is a feat! Well said!

I must have a pair of those booties! Does that local store ship or have a website? Have you ever seen the leather shoes for babies? They are called Moss Feet shoes SOOOO YUMMY! And then there are Pedoodles shoes! I found them at www.earthybabes.com. Oh I would spend more on baby shoes than my own if I could!
