What a perfect poem. I wish wearing black still meant something, that if we wore black people would know to be extra tender with us. They'd put us in their pocket and keep us safe. But it doesn't work that way...so today I am wearing my brightest tie dye so at least I will be seen.
Sorry you're having a rough day. Trying to reintegrate into society is TOUGH, especially when you're in a strange limbo between grief and joy that most people just don't understand.
