Sketchbook Project & AEDM

Here are the last 3 spreads for my sketchbook project. Like I've said before, I'm not sure the flow and unity of the entire thing is the best, but I feel good about completing this project. I've scanned all the images, and will probably post a link with them all gathered together when I get time :)

And as today is officially Nov. 1, here is the sketchbook I made for Art Every Day Month (AEDM). I used the moleksine paper from the sketchbook took out for the rebinding for the Sketchbook Project, a file folder for the covers, and collaged magazine pieces for the design.

  3. I am thrilled you're doing AEDM! I hope I get to see one of your gorgeous watercolors every day - they are so filled with color and meaning. I especially love the hoping piece because it captures such a moment in your lives. Oh, I am going to blubber all over myself, I love your work so much!

  4. Those are amazing end spreads. I love the whole book. I can't wait to see them all together. I am thinking of using one true media to set up a slideshow and see it all together as a video montage, or something...And I'm so glad to see your AED paintings.

  5. wow! these pages you shared today are wonderful. so vibrant both visually and emotionally (to me :)
congrats on taking the plunge into AEDM!
I wish I had it in me to do it. I am so daunted by the whole photo editing and posting on blog part. it feels like so much work. maybe I'll take part in it in my own little world and not feel the obligation to post about it.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the things you do for AEDM :)

  6. "hoping apprehensively, but still hoping" I LOVE THAT ONE. So fitting to pregnancy after loss. There is so much hope, but not pure trusting hope like there had been before. Your work continues to speak to me.

  7. I love these. I love the "love expanding". That is true in so many ways for you...the wonder of the 2nd child - that you love the second equally to the first. And I love your hope.
