4.1.10

Inspired by the lovely daisy yellow, this is a sketch I made of a stretch of buildings outside the coffee shop we hang out at.
There is so much neat architecture in the city I live. I might challenge myself to find a new stretch of buildings to draw on a weekly basis. It will get me out of the apartment...but I wouldn't have to have a lot of social interaction, which means less questions. So a win-win, right?

  1. I really like this. It reminds me of a print I have of my home home city. I love the way line drawings of cityscapes take on the quality of a repeated pattern.

I've loved seeing your work over at the Still Life 365 project.

    With love, Jess

  2. This is fun. I especially like that you can sort of see handwriting through the paper :) My journal looks a lot like that.
