Sketchbook Project

At 5am this morning, when I couldn't sleep, I was surfing my google reader and Creative Kismet had some information about the Sketchbook Project . After browsing their website, I have signed up and am busily thinking on my theme: Great Hopes, Massive Failures. I'm still doing the Creative Everyday Challenge (C.E.D.) this is just an added challenge. Which begs for me to explain how I'm going to manage to do this new project, when I've been less than everyday, heck, less than weekly on the C.E.D.?

Ha. I laugh in the face of obligatory feelings though. At least right now. I'm excited to do this project. And I even have an inkling to pick up my brushes and watercolor paper again. There is an ebb and flow in creativity. My ebbs have just been longer than my flows lately :)

One more day to leave a comment on the giveaway post . I choose the winner tomorrow!

  2. I went to the site. It sounds really cool. I'm going to think about it tonight and look at it again tomorrow and maybe I just might try it!
    Thanks for sharing this.

  3. awesome!
I really look forward to seeing what happens in your book :-)
In case it's helpful to you, i have read of a few people rebinding their books to contain watercolour paper instead of the thin paper the book comes with. I guess it's fine as long as it retains it's original dimensions.
